Hey everyone! Its been a while since my last post. I am still going to school in Boone, NC. It is nice living in the mountains during the winter months. I have been snowboarding non stop here. Not the biggest mountains, but definitely some fun ones! I know everyone is ready for the weather to warm up, but I must say that I am enjoying the cold! The semester just started for school, and I am ready for it to be over! This semester is going to be very difficult, which I am not looking forward to. Summer is right around the corner and I am excited about that. I will be coaching at the AF Wake School in NC again this summer. You girls should come check it out.

Hey Ladies & Gents!
Hope you guys are having a great winter! Where I’m living now, it sure doesn’t feel like winter. Its 80 degrees out! What a perfect day to go to the beach
A little update on what I’ve been up to. I moved down to Huntington Beach last August to attend California State University Long Beach where I’m currently majoring in Sports Psychology. My goal is to become a physical therapist. I enjoy the school and have met quite a bit of people. I’m currently riding on Long Beach State’s wakeboard team. The people are great. So far we have traveled to Portland, Oregon and Orlando, Florida to compete against other colleges. Our team isn’t the biggest, but boy do we have the best cheer squad! I ended up taking 1st place in the Advanced division in Portland and 1st place in the Women’s division in Orlando. Our team also qualified for the National Championships, which will be held on our home turf in April of 2011. There will be 16 different colleges there from all over the country.
I have currently been doing some physical therapy myself and trying to rehab my leg. I broke my femur back in October of 2009. The doctor put a foot long rod and 3 screws in my femur. I just had another surgery in November of 2010 to take all that hardware out. I am almost back to normal and can’t wait to ride again!
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and I wish you all a Happy New Year!
Weather your living somewhere where it’s snowing, tropical or raining there is always an excuse to get outdoors. Some of my favorite winter activities are Snowboarding, skateboarding, winching, staying in shape at the gym, yoga, painting, and taking photo’s. Here are a few photo’s of my winter so far. Please share your photo’s and inspiration from your wintertime on the LF Girls facebook fan page. Liquid Force Girls.
